Virtual Prep Academy of Arizona offers a free, state-aligned ninth grade program designed for students who learn best when instruction is tailored to their needs. Whether your child is new to online learning or continuing from an earlier online middle school or online elementary school experience, our team makes the transition seamless and stress-free.

Students learn through a combination of live teacher instruction and independent study, with the support of certified Arizona teachers and a team that understands how to guide each student’s unique learning path.

How Does Online Ninth Grade Work?

Here’s how online learning works: Each day, students engage in a mix of live virtual lessons and self-paced coursework. Our model is built to give them both the structure they need and the flexibility families appreciate.

Students log in each day to attend scheduled classes led by certified Arizona educators. Outside of class time, they complete assignments at their own pace. Regular check-ins with teachers and Student Success Coordinators help students stay motivated and on track. At home, a Learning Coach (often a parent or guardian) provides additional support and structure.

Online Ninth Grade Curriculum
